This type of tent has three rings at the top, with a smaller ring roof on each side and entrances on both sides. This type of tent is characterized by a very large interior space, with a main room in the middle and a hall shed at both ends. Passage tents are mostly multi-person tents, which can accommodate three or more people at the same time. The design pays attention to the windproof and streamline, and it is also one of the common tent styles. However, the passage tents are generally relatively large in size, and the weight is not suitable for hiking, and it is more suitable for driving trips. Grid dome tent: also known as hexagonal tent, it is supported by three or four poles, and some are designed with six poles.

The mesh igloo is sturdy, portable, easy to set up and dismantle. Its unique curved interlocking struts make it stronger and more stable, and are a common style of "alpine" tents. The grid dome tent can use a good space, which can form multiple cabins, suitable for 2~3 people.

Self-opening tents: also known as "automatic tents", most of them are leisure tents.

This kind of tent is mainly suitable for family gatherings, outings, picnics and other purposes, there is no crowd limit, and there are various spaces and sizes. One of its great features is the foldability of the self-opening tent, which can be opened and put away quickly, and when folded, it is usually a round pie shape, which is ideal for placing in the trunk of a car.
